Foul play alleged over allocation of fishing licences, with seasoned fishermen denied licences

The allocation of fishing licences overseen by the acting Director General of Agriculture and Fisheries, who is also Treasurer of the MK Veterans association has seen many seasoned fishermen who have pursued their occupation for decades, denied licences and unknown (to those who fish) entrants given licences.  It remains unclear whether or not there is foul play, but in an atmosphere where government has earned a reputation for irregularities, anger runs high and suspicion is widespread.
