  1. Cde Suttner, I am grateful to all your teachings about the Freedom Charter. I attended so many of those lectures in the 80’s I mean you literally incalcated the Charter in my blood. I remember a time in Sebokeng, at Kgotso House, and some other dinky little places were we would squeeze in just so you can impart the knowledge. We were just as hungry to get all you could give us! You are a blessing indeed. I have a 28 year old daughter who was born June 26, 1987 while I was underground. We had to escape to Botswana 28 days after she was born. Fortunately, one of the wiser Cdes who knew someone in Saxonwold got my daughter her own International Jumbo Passport so we can travel together but separate if you know what I mean. She could always be returned to my parents if anything happened to me!! phew!! Anyway, every year on Freedom Charter Day, I think about you and I am grateful to you for your love, patriotizm and unselfish way you have shared your life with the youth of my day (1980’s0 and our people at large. This is longer that I anticipated, probably because of all the love and gratitude that has been bottled up in me for so long. I live in Maryland, USA now, I will be home August 1-13, let me know if you will be in Gauteng or Emfuleni, I would love to have a chance to see you again. Comradely yours, Ntshiuwa Sato Bess

    • Thank you comrade for your kind words. It is good to know that one is remembered for these things. Yes, we can arrange to meet some time then. I will be here. I will e mail you my contact details. Regards Raymond Suttner
