While I appreciate that the reviewer, Alan Walker has read this book and reviewed it, there are some unfortunate inaccuracies.

It is inaccurate in suggesting that I played a role in the election of President Jacob Zuma. Any person who reads the newspapers of the time, for example Business Day, will see that I opposed the rise of Zuma from the time of his rape trial.Nor did I ‘mention that [I] liked the idea of the rural boy who became a national leader.’ what I did say was that I was impressed initially that a person who had little formal education had risen in the ANC. I saw this as positive that the organisation recognised qualities that were found in someone without the professional qualifications often associated with leadership.
