In our constitution we protect freedom of sexual orientation.  There is a tendency for the focus to be on gay and lesbian departures from heteronormavity  and the victimisation that they experience.  It is important that those of us who believe in freedom and dignity also try to understand and address the pain and humiliations that intersex people experience.  This interview and the links cited ought to assist in that process
